What is your role and primary responsibility within the organization?
As the Chief Operating Officer, I oversee the client centered services Trillium provides in our community.
What is a passion or hobby outside of work that brings you joy?
Running although I am not very good at it.
Spending time outside, whether that is in the yard or hiking in the gorge.
Love the Oregon Coast.
What motivated you to pursue a career in mental health?
Early in my education I became very interested in the science of Mental Health. Then right out of school, I began working at the Children’s Farm Home and was inspired by the people in the Mental Health Community. The science remained important to me, but I was struck by the fact that both the individuals seeking help and those providing the help were the most thoughtful, caring, and sincere people I have ever met. I was hooked and knew I wanted to spend my career with these people.
