OUR CULTURE

Core Principles

DETERMINED

to create trust between staff and families through our dynamic teamwork, continued resiliency, and dedication to accessibility and helping others.

CONNECTED

to others through our hands-on educational and training experiences. We proudly offer Clinical, Administrative, and Bachelor's Degree internship programs, and clinical license supervision.

DYNAMIC

is how we describe our teamwork, made up of multidisciplinary team members who empower families through compassionate, trauma-informed care.

COMMITTED

to creating safe, nurturing environments for our teams, as well as the youth and families we serve, that promote the best level of learning and healing possible.

MINDFUL

to let kids be kids and have fun despite their mental health challenges. We believe children are best treated when they receive treatment close to home.

INVESTED

in the future of each child and of all Oregonians by promoting mental health wellness and providing residential and community services to families.

"I am honored to be CEO of Trillium Family Services. I'm passionate about making sure youth and families get the right care, to help prevent more intensive interventions.

Our extensive community-based programs demonstrate this commitment. I have seen firsthand the lifesaving interventions we provide in our inpatient programs. As an organization, we are driven to continue to evolve effective services for youth, families, and communities. We embed trauma-informed and anti-racist practices in tangible ways across the organization so that real change can occur. This would not be possible without all of us working dynamically, and I am fully committed to this work.

DEIB

DIVERSITY . EQUITY . INCLUSION . BELONGING

“At Trillium, we strive to create long-term, sustainable programs to build on our commitment to the organizational core value of fostering a more diverse and inclusive environment.

Building awareness through a trauma-informed lens drives our mission to create positive change for employees, clients, and communities.”

HOW IS TRILLIUM IMPLEMENTING DEIB?

  • At Trillium Family Services, we practice fair treatment, access, and advancement for each person in our organization.

  • We work hard to make sure all team members have the same chance to do their best work and feel valued.

  • We approach everything through a lens of emotional intelligence - and strive to provide an environment where all feel they have a sense of purpose and belonging.

TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE PHILOSOPHY

Trauma-informed care is a framework and philosophy that guides the way we interact with one another as individuals, team members, and with our community. We practice asking what has happened to you, rather than what is "wrong" with you.

The PRESENCE Model provides everyone at Trillium Family Services with basic knowledge about trauma, adversity, and stress and advances the emergence of trauma-informed values, knowledge, practice, and skills.
