Trillium Leadership

What is your role and primary responsibility within the organization?

I’m the VP for Trillium’s Foundation. In my role, I get to connect the passion and resources of our community to Trillium’s mission of supporting youth mental health. I lead a team that engages individuals and organizations who care deeply about making a difference in kids’ lives by aligning their philanthropic support with our programs and services. This can include everything from volunteering and board service to different vehicles for charitable contributions—all of which directly support our mission and create lasting impact for the children and families we serve.

What is a passion or hobby outside of work that brings you joy?

One of my favorite ways to connect with friends is to go hiking or running on the weekends. I also love to travel when I can or at least daydream about it. I recently ran a 5K in France and had a blast. I love being able to explore a new city by running through the streets with locals.

What motivated you to pursue a career in mental health?

When I was a teenager, I had to grapple with the ripple effects of trauma to somebody very close to me, and I experienced how isolating and harmful it can be when mental health struggles go unspoken. Personally, one of the more important aspects of what Trillium does is normalize conversation about mental health challenges, from everyday struggles to more serious diagnoses. Conversations can be a lifeline that break cycles of silence and misunderstanding that so often keep people from seeking help. For me, this work is about ensuring that no one feels alone in their journey and helping people access the care they need with dignity and compassion.
