Your Donation Can Power Transformative Journeys
The story of Cory, a young man who faced his mental health struggles with support from Trillium Family Services has inspired so many, including his father, Ed.
At 15, Cory grappled with overwhelming anxiety and depression, leading to frequent emergency room visits and a two-week stay at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Recognizing the gravity of Cory’s situation, the medical team recommended continuous intensive 24/7 treatment.
Cory’s journey to healing began when he found comfort, understanding, and shared resilience during his 5-week stay at Trillium. Today, Cory is proudly married and co-owner of a salon in Wenatchee, Washington.
Cory’s story doesn’t end there. His father, Ed, inspired by his son’s resilience, will embark on an extraordinary journey during Mental Health Awareness Month in May 2024. Ed will run an impressive 419 miles from Wenatchee to Trillium’s Corvallis campus, symbolizing his commitment to raising awareness about the importance of youth mental health. And to celebrate just how far his son has come.
Ed’s run isn’t just a test of physical endurance—it’s a personal mission. It’s a demonstration of what we can achieve together, and we’re inviting you to join us in this effort by donating today. Together, we can ensure that more children, like Cory in 2015, have the resources and support they need to overcome their struggles and lead fulfilling lives. Thank you for considering a gift to Trillium Family Services. We appreciate your support.
