What is your role and primary responsibility within the organization?
As the VP of Technology and HIPAA Security Officer, my role is to align our technology strategy with Trillium’s organizational strategic plan and goals. I manage the IT and Clinical Applications teams to ensure our systems are secure, dependable, and can grow with our needs.
What is a passion or hobby outside of work that brings you joy?
When I'm not working, I enjoy camping, fishing, and watching sports, with the Portland Trail Blazers and Oregon Ducks being favorites.
What motivated you to pursue a career in mental health?
Before joining Trillium in 2008 I had primarily supported medical healthcare. However, after witnessing family members grapple with mental health challenges over the years, I gained a new appreciation for the importance of ensuring accessible and quality care for mental health also.
