Trillium Family Services is rooted in the truth that mental health is an integral part of overall health and well-being. If we can help children today, we can avoid the human and social costs that are inevitable tomorrow.
The Adverse childhood experiences study (ACES)* reveals staggering proof of the health, social, and economic risks that result from childhood trauma. Trillium exists to provide hope and stop this cycle of devastating consequence.
*the ACE study is ongoing collaborative research between the Centers for Disease Control and prevention and Kaiser Permanente.
