Trillium Family Services is so grateful for the generosity and compassion of our community. Because of your support, each of our kids experienced the joy of the season! Your generosity not only brings holiday joy, but also communicates a larger message to our clients: the message that they are loved, valued and that they are supported by their community. We couldn’t have done this without you.
We entered this season with some worries around how we would be able to provide enough gifts for the children in our care. We were very aware of the challenges this year has brought to so very many and the impact on many of our supporters. So, while we pivoted to an online virtual giving option in addition to our in person Wish Tags, we were unsure how much support we would receive this year. All those worries were laid to rest as the gifts began pouring in! We are just blown away by our community.
Your generosity and care for our kids was so apparent this year. It just isn’t possible to convey how grateful we are.
We want to give a shout out to the following groups for either promoting our Virtual Gift Drive or putting up Wish Tags this year. Most businesses were impacted by COVID this year but found ways to support us anyway. Thank you so much!!!

Each year we offer our Adopt-A-Family program which allows individuals and groups to support a specific family in our Therapeutic Outpatient Program. For some of these families, the option to purchase toys and clothes is just not possible. These families often request necessities like food, coats, and bedding.
With the support of both communities, we were able to support more families this year than last year!! 45 families were able to be adopted this year and matched with donors who wanted to help. Entire families were able to receive new items, including gift cards to the grocery store, new bedding and clothing, toys for the clients we work with AND their siblings, and even some new items for their parents. This program really helps support families who are struggling to make ends meet or who may be experiencing major crises. The families are always so grateful and touched by the support of strangers who simply want them to have a special holiday.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to those who donated so much to these families in need:

In addition to the Virtual Gift Drive, Wish Tag, and Adopt-A-Family programs, Trillium was fortunate to be selected by two local news stations in the Metro area as well as MannaHouse Church to be recipients of their toy drives. Items like bikes, art kits, basketballs, and toys helped tremendously by filling in for any last-minute gift needs. Big thank you to the teams and donors of MannaHouse Church, 2020’s KGW Great Toy Drive and Fox 12 Les Schwab Toy Drive with the assistance of Toy and Joy Makers for helping bring so much joy to the kids this year.
Thank you as well to the local businesses such as the Corvallis Book Bin, who partnered with us to provide their customers the opportunity to support local while gifting the invaluable world of books and imagination to children in our care.
With these partnerships we were able to replenish campus items that are frequently used by the kids during treatment activities, as well as help individual kids who admit closer to the actual holiday and would not have had an opportunity to create a wish list.
For those who donated items and took time out of their own schedules, we want you to know that the children and families are so appreciative of the outpouring of support by the community and they want to say THANK YOU to each of you who contributed this year. Our staff echo this sentiment as well. It is amazing to see our communities come together to help create happy memories for the kids at Trillium Family Services.
We appreciate our supportive community so much!
