Kristen Taylor is responsible for the direction and oversight of all human resource functions for Trillium Family Services. This includes policy development, employee recruitment and retention, performance evaluation, classification and compensation, professional development and employee benefits. Ms. Taylor oversees the human resource and training staff at each of Trillium’s campuses. Ms. Taylor works closely with managers and employees alike to ensure Trillium’s employment environment adheres to all legal standards as well as promote a culture that aligns with the Sanctuary Institute values of the Seven Commitments.

Prior to joining the Human Resources team in 2007 Ms. Taylor has held a variety of different roles for Trillium Family Services since 1994 in the direct service arena. Ms. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Oregon State University and her Master’s degree from Western Oregon University.  She holds professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Certification Institute. Ms. Taylor is actively involved as a volunteer leader for the Society for Human Resources Management, serving on the board of directors for both the state and local councils.
