Job Summary: Responsible for providing supervision and care of clients in the Residential Treatment Center. Employee implements treatment programming in a milieu environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

|Provides supervision, care and support of clients in accordance with TFS policy.|
|Completes required documentation of a professional quality and within the timelines specified by policy.|
|Facilitates and leads Individual and Group Skills Training with the Clients in accordance with the Client’s treatment plan.|
|Understands and participates in the treatment process (from assessment to discharge), including interdisciplinary communication, family engagement documentation, and relationship building.|
|Demonstrates adherence to risk management procedures, protocols, policies, and interventions related to high risk client behavior. Ensures subordinates can demonstrate understanding of risk management by verifying completion of required trainings, maintaining training compliance, and demonstrated observations which validate competencies in these areas.|
|Facilitates and leads Crisis Management and Intervention. This includes modeling the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention principals of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security while providing verbal and physical intervention as instructed in the course.|
|Communicates in developmentally appropriate and respectful manner with clients, their resources, and coworkers.|
|Conducts oneself in a professional and respectful manner with clients, their resources and coworkers; as evidenced by actions, language, and attire.|
|Demonstrates cultural awareness and works toward cultural competencies for the organization.|
|Demonstrates the ability to administer medications to clients when needed, per TFS policy.|
|Demonstrates the ability to facilitate and supervise the overall the milieu structure on a daily basis.|
|Demonstrates an ability to use good judgment with clients, their resources and coworkers; within the guidelines of policy and Trauma informed care principles.|
|Provides supervision and training to assigned Residential Skills Trainers with a focus on developing mastery of their essential duties, responsibilities, and competencies as well as ongoing professional development.|
|Demonstrates the ability to facilitate the process of hiring new staff and coordinating the scheduling process to assure daily staffing meets required levels.|
|All other duties as assigned.|
|Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat, clean and professional.|
|Reports to work on time and as scheduled using ETime to track hours and approve time;|
|Wears identification while on duty;|
|Completes all training required for position. All training is complete and up to date.|
|Attends required staff meetings;|

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervision of assigned staff, interns and volunteers, including but not limited to: training, professional development, conflict resolution, team building and discipline, evaluation, hiring, and staffing determinations.
Professional attributes: demonstrates caring and compassion toward clients and their families; confidence and resilience; demonstrates patience, initiative, and a willingness to learn and engage with clients and co-workers; demonstrates leadership and clear, respectful communication skills.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Preference given to applicants with Associate, Bachelor’s degree, may substitute experience. Experience working in a psychiatric/behavioral health treatment facility with children or adolescents is preferred.
Maintain a driving record acceptable by the agency and a current driver’s license for state of residence, when authorized to use own vehicle for agency business, employee must maintain personal insurance.
Language Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge for the implementation of client information electronic record keeping.
