Job Summary: Works under the weekly supervision of the ICTS Clinical Supervisor in the planning, support, implementation and evaluation of skills-specific therapeutic services for youth and families in the school, home and community. Provides education, support, direction and modeling of behavior management techniques to adult caregivers in their homes as needed to support client treatment goals. Within the guidelines and direction established by the supervisor, oversees and coordinates implementation of the treatment plan in the school, home or community. Assists in the coordination of services provided by other professionals as prescribed in the treatment plan. Oversees and advises adult caregivers and/or school/community liaisons to ensure that client expectations are consistent with treatment plan goals. Consults with team members, agency personnel, community professionals and family members regarding current client issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
|Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:|
|Ensure the safety, security and confidentiality of clients and families|
|Manage crisis situations as required by implementing crisis interventions/plans as directed by supervisor, or in case of emergency, by contacting appropriate officials for interventions|
|Model, coach and counsel clients regarding skills as outlined in individual treatment plans as treatment goals through individual skills training, group skills training, family skills training and/or treatment groups|
|Act as liaison between school systems and facilitate the integration of the client’s treatment goals within school/community setting|
|Act as liaison between families, community based agencies, and school systems, facilitating interagency communication regarding placement, activities, treatment goals and progress|
|Work with supervisor to coordinate the implementation of treatment plans to address the strengths and problems of clients and their families|
|Provide support, education and modeling of behavioral management techniques to adult caregivers and community liaisons, modeling professionalism, effective communication, problem solving and decision making that support clients treatment goals|
|Perform duties to support treatment goals in the home, school and/or community, depending on client need|
|Monitor and document client progress toward goal attainment in accordance with agency standards and complete professional documentation as required by agency policies|
|Participate in community and/or school meetings regarding client when important for progressing toward treatment goals|
|Complete and keep current all training required for the position|
|Seek and maintain community resources and contacts to obtain referrals, materials and information including access to services by clients|
|Maintain client confidentiality when in community or outside of treatment environment|
|Participate in weekly supervision with direct supervisor, group supervision with colleagues and staff meetings with ICTS team|
|Maintain productivity requirements|
|Participate in on call pool of ICTS staff members to provide 24/7 coverage|
|Provide therapeutic services in the community, schools, and in client’s home, which may require using own vehicle for transportation to these appointments|
|Ability to understand and work effectively with a variety of community providers, family members, other professionals and children in various settings|

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field or QMHA required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Maintain a driving record acceptable by the agency and a current driver’s license for state of residence, when authorized to use own vehicle for agency business, employee must maintain personal insurance
Experience: Two (2) full years experience as a direct care worker with at-risk children and youth in a treatment setting .
