Clinical Applications Lead Analyst

Job Summary: Clinical Applications administrative support position in the IT Department will report to the Director of clinical applications. Will work supporting the domain maintenance and processes of the electronic health record and any potential future clinical applications. This position works closely with departmental coworkers as a member of the Clinical Applications team and in collaboration with stakeholders across departments including customers (direct end users of the software.) The scope of work will include routine tasks, informatics, and project initiatives as appropriate and assigned. Essential Duties of this position listed below.


Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:  
Maintain the security and confidentiality of client records and other confidential information of the agency and staff.
Ability to evaluate and resolve customer concerns (including support in the Support Center ticket system) for Credible EHR with minimal oversight or support.
Ability to effectively collaborate and work as a liaison with others from a wide variety of roles, competing priorities, and business lines throughout the agency.
Provide EHR analysis and support as assigned by the Director in support of workflows, data integrity and extraction, and intersection within the record system throughout business practices at Trillium.
Support the Clinical Applications team by facilitating, preparing, organizing, evaluating, and documenting processes as requested either in conjunction with or as a representative for the Clin Apps Director’s participation in specified meetings.
Produce and utilize reports, research, and evaluation to inform and take action on needs to support the health of the domain and complete the objectives for the EHR: maintaining chart records, storing information utilized for providing care, and billing functions.
Develop and maintain an accurate, organized, and thorough record of changes in applications, steps and communications regarding projects, and reasoning for decisions regarding Clinical Applications work. Utilize organizational and structured tools as identified for the Clin Apps Team or agency.
Take initiative within scope of the role, anticipate needs, and elevate salient information to the Director of Clinical Applications as appropriate without explicit direction.  



Ability to work independently with minimal prompting to provide details for oversite of assignments by supervisor and project with stakeholders
Competently navigate all sections of the E.H.R. and thoroughly demonstrate how areas of system intersect within Credible, through various roles and departments, and the impact on data structure.
Demonstrate ability to evaluate needs and make recommendations for the success of Trillium goals and the EHR. good judgment for differentiating between work that requires assistance, independent action, collaborative action, and/or needs elevation for visibility by departmental leadership to execute on any given assignment.

Complete all agency and departmental trainings required for the position.


Professional Requirements:  
At 3 years of experience in at least one key area and knowledge in several key areas: EHR administration, database structures, data report building, behavioral health direct care and operations, billing of health services, nursing/prescribing/medication administration, compliance or risk mitigation, health records maintenance and production.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, methodical analysis, and effective time management
Willing to complete repetitive tasks/data entry, provide guidance, and develop teaching materials for a portion of work tasks.
Comfort and confidence in learning mastery for software tools: including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite, electronic health record systems, databases, reporting tools.
Demonstrated value for continuous improvement and solution seeking (inward and front facing)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate, engage others, encourage equity, be driven, and incorporate direction and/or feedback.
Demonstrated ability for appreciative inquiry by asking open ended questions from a non-pre-set expectation/ assumption, model being openness and creativity in identifying and solving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Associates degree or technology certification equivalent. Educational background or certification with any of the following preferred: data structures or analytics, medical care, informatics.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Credible certification within 90 days of hire. Maintain a driving record acceptable by the agency and a current driver’s license for state of residence, when authorized to use own vehicle for agency business, employee must maintain personal insurance

Experience:. Three years with healthcare technology operations or EHR experience

Job Knowledge: Operates within established and accepted office procedures and practices. Makes decisions within established guidelines, organizational policy and procedure, federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations for the requirements of this job description.  Deals with highly sensitive and confidential resident information.

Skills: Computer skills including, word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry; solid background in an electronic health record; strong organizational ability; customer service skills including written, verbal and phone; driven with ability to work independently under supervision; medical terminology helpful.
