On June 29th Keep Oregon Well sponsored The Love Rocks Run in Forest Grove, Oregon for the third consecutive year. This is a fantastic, family friendly event that we look forward to each year. As usual, our tent was a popular destination for those hoping to test their luck on our prize wheel, while having some meaningful conversations about mental health and stigma.
Love Rocks is a worldwide movement started in Forest Grove, OR in honor of step sisters, Anna and Abby, who lived a very love-drenched life and continue to teach those who hear their story, how to live the best life possible.
Love Rocks are river rocks with a fabric heart affixed using Mod Podge and are shared to spread love and joy. Since the inaugural run, the Love Rocks online community has grown to over 35,000 followers and have shared love and joy on all seven continents. To find out more about Anna and Abby, and to learn more about their Love Rocks legacy please visit the love-rocks.org website.
