On January 24, 2018 #KeepOregonWell had the pleasure of hosting a resource table at the 9th Annual We Can Do Better Conference at the Portland Art Museum. The conference featured various speakers doing amazing work to reform health care and advocating for the voiceless.
Featured speakers included:
Keynote by former Governor John Kitzhaber
Rep Alissa Keny-Guyer with mental health patient advocates sharing their successful advocacy this legislative session.
Rep Diego Hernandez and Cover All Kids advocate -Aldo Salano-Oregon Latino Health Coalition
Rep Julie Fahey and Grayson Dempsey on Reproductive Health Bill
Health Care for All Oregon- Tom Sincic
OpenNotes- Liz Salmi @TheLizArmy
There was also a speaker from Central City Concern.
We appreciate being involved in this conference and having the opportunity to share our anti-stigma work with like minded people that are working to reform policy and reshape the systems currently in place. We’ll certainly be present at the 10th Annual Conference and we hope you will be as well.
