We are excited to announce that the Keep Oregon Well In Schools Program was awarded a $3,000.00 grant from The Oregon Community Foundation and David Douglas High School Community 101 students! The fact that we were selected by David Douglas High School student leadership makes this even more special. They saw a need for our anti-stigma advocacy on their campus and that our missions were aligned and this prompted the recommendation to award this grant. Keep Oregon Well was one of three grant recipients.
Community 101 engages students in their communities through leadership, service and giving. They discover they can make a difference by helping organizations through volunteerism and grant making. These grant dollars will go directly back to David Douglas High for a mental health awareness and anti stigma campaign planned for the fall.
