Mental Health Awareness Month happens each year in May. Now in its fourth year, to mark the occasion, Trillium has again launched the Keep Oregon Well Mental Health Heroes Awards – a multi-media celebration of the people, nonprofits, community groups and business leaders who have helped pave the way for Mental and Behavioral healthcare to thrive in Oregon and the Pacific NW.

Public nominations were open to the community from December-February, and a selection committee made up of mental health and social services providers and former mental health heroes narrowed those nominations down to 31 heroes — one for every day of the month.

Thank you for all you do to Keep Oregon Well, Janie! We salute you.

Janie leads MHAO by facilitating the best in her managers and staff. She models Intentional Peer Support values in her role as Executive Director, supervisor, colleague, Peer, and friend. She lives what she speaks.

    Congratulations, Janie.
